The Relationship between #Yoga, #Meditation, and Self #Hypnosis


Though no one knows the precise origin of yoga, meditation and self-hypnosis, one thing is sure, that they are more than thousands of years old. Esteemed students are sure that the origins and practice of yoga and meditation can be traced to the Indus Valley civilization. Despite the incontrovertible fact that these practices give the expert a feeling of well being and peace it was not in vogue until recently.

Though yoga and meditation are frequently linked together they also are different. Meditation is thought to have been practiced across the entire world for an especially long time. Self-hypnosis is also thought to have existed in the world for a considerable time. These alternate methods of healing and self-healing have existed for hundreds of year’s despite efforts to discourage them by varied vested interests for instance crazies and dogmatists. Doesn't it make you question why some individuals would like to discourage something as superb as self-hypnosis, meditation and yoga? Well the answer is not difficult. The great majority of people who against these strategies were folks in control- control over other folks. Because of this type of oppression many individuals in the previous Soviet union practiced Yoga in secret.

As a person who has lived in a free country all his life I find this tough to understand, as will all of you who live in a free society. All we are able to conclude is if folks were pleased to risk their lives for the well being offered by yoga there has to be something to it. Think of all the sages who realized self and more thru yoga.

In today of widgets, where we've got some gadget or other to do just about any thing we need, we still haven't got any time for ourselves-no time to take real good care of our well being, our spirituality, of self awakening. Who is constraining you from yoga? No one But you yourself. Take a few moments to yourself, put your feet up and let go. Think about all of the benefits that you are going to gain by practicing yoga or meditation or self-hypnosis. Think about the well being that is the results of practicing these self-improvement methods. Don't you want to feel good about your self, be relaxed and calm and be in a position to handle the whims of life confidently and quietly.
