The Sacral Chakra encapsulates your sexuality, self esteem, creativity, as well as your pleasures and frustrations. This Chakra involves your emotions, and feelings of duality. It is also known as the Swadhistana or Second Chakra, and in Martial Arts, it is known as the “Hara”. The Swadhistana governs life lessons involving blame and guilt, sex, power and control. Because of this, the Sacral Chakra is the source of your sense of morality. In addition, the Sacral Chakra is also the source of your creativity, ability to manifest, and your prosperity. Also, your personal magnetism, your patterns of control, and your sociability emanate from the Swadhistana. In conclusion, an imbalance in the Sacral Chakra can manifest as addiction, intimacy issues, and feeling blue.
Where is the Second Chakra, & What are the Sacral Chakra Colors?
The Swadhistana color is orange. It is located below the belly button, about 2-3 fingers down.
How is the Swadhistana Connected to the Aura?
The feeling nature of the Swadhistana Chakra connects it to the Emotional layer of the aura. Our shifting emotions flow through the Swadhistana like a soft cloud of rainbow colors, within the second layer of the aura, shifting and changing with our emotional nature.
What Sound Healing Frequencies Open the Sacral Chakra?
The most effective way to open and express the stifled emotions stuffed into the Second Chakra, is through sound. This is because sound energy is immediately felt and responded to. The Swadhistana is tuned to the soothing, natural sounds of flowing water and ocean waves. Also, the vowel sound of “Ooh” and the mantra chant “Vam” are associated with the Second Chakra.
There are several different sound frequencies associated with the Swadhistana, including the musical Keynote D, 210.42 Hz, 288 Hz, and 384 Hz. But perhaps the most potent is the Solfeggio frequency of 417 Hz. When a Tibetan singing bowl tuned to 417 Hz, and combined with sound healing binaural beats, you simply need 27 minutes with a pair of headphones. By doing so, the healing tones can open up a new world of potential!
